Book poem

This poem, an appropriate epigram for our Sat Oct 15 Moffat book Event, popped into my inbox this morning from the online daily The Writers Almanac:

...because I need something that will tell me
what I am; I want to catch a book,
clear as a one-way ticket, to Paris,
to London, to anywhere.
