Uses for books

This magnificent ram pictured above with its maker paper artist Isabell Buenz is made from written material on paper: newspapers and books. The fleece in particular was made from two paperbacks no longer required by a public library, both by Annie Murray: 'The Bells of Bourneville Green' and  'The Narrowboat Girl'.  The ram is on display in the window of former Moffat Well St wine shop, latterly scarf factory outlet, courtesy of Mr McIllwrick until sheep racing day on Sunday when it will be raffled. The ram was commissioned by Moffat-based green energy and property company Forestry Purposes LLP.
