Where were we?

Where were we?

Life is too short for what my friend David calls 'war stories' or others call 'organ recitals'.  All you need to know is that I am now living, aged 75, in Cumbria.

I am in precarious health.  I live with my younger daughter Elly, her husband Jim and their three sons Harry aged 13, Zac aged 11 and Olly aged 7.

Every day I do similar things: I get up and either get dressed or stay in my pyjamas. I am well or unwell. I often write to the papers - the TLS, the Times or the Telegraph. I remember things. I write emails to friends (not many - friends I mean). A blog will help me reflect on the way I spend my time. I watch TV on my iPad or MacBook Air, also Netflix series such as ‘Suits’ and ‘White Collar’.
